I am so grateful for this opportunity. I know this experience has changed my life and the lives of my family. The counseling staff works wonderfully as a team. I've received something from each counselor
St. Helena's staff treated me with dignity. I felt safe and well-informed through Dr. Hambrick and Dr. Arlene Taylor's powerful, informative and educational lectures.
If you need help managing chronic physical pain, we have a Pain Management specialty track that can be added onto your addiction recovery. As a participant in our Pain Management track, you will attend four group sessions and four individual counseling sessions with our pain management specialists. This track is designed to help you understand how to manage pain while limiting the use of pharmaceutical drugs. Our emphasis on pain relief and pain management is linked through alternative methods including exercise, stretching, meditation and relaxation.
Our Pain Management specialty track uses a curriculum designed specifically for our patients and includes utilizing the book Chronic Pain Management in the Recovery Alcoholic-Addict by Dr. Diane Hambrick.
